Lazy Sunday

The owner of my local LYS is home recovering from surgery, so I helped out at the shop yesterday. Since I was out all day, I decided to take it easy today, so I'm hanging out in the bedroom today and loving it. It's something that I never do. Mr. H is working a double shift today, so it's just me and the boys, my 2 dogs Byron and Jack. I'm watching the dvd of the making of Herbie Hancock's Possibilities. If you love good music, you have to own the CD it's great. He does collaborations with Christina Aguilera, John Mayer, Annie Lennox, Santana and Sting, just to name a few. I owned the CD told my band members about it, and my band leader found the dvd.

Anyway, the decision was hard. The answers were all phenomenal. Since I read all of your blogs all the time, I felt too close to each of you, and could not decide, which is a good thing because no one is going home a loser. One of you did stand out. I asked Mr. H to read all of your answers and without any assistance his answer was the same as mine. Amanda was our first choice, and Marit, you came in a close second. Amanda, please let me know if you want the project pouch of goodies witch includes, 2 balls of sock yarn, and accessories to help your knitting, or the Magazine and yarn. Here are some pictures to help you decide. If you decide on the pouch, let me know which fabric you would like.

I also need mailing addresses from all 4 of you. My email address is on the sidebar.

My shoulder felt a little better yesterday, so I took advantage of the situation and got some work done. Here is what I have done on the jacket with the moss stitch edging so far.

Since an outfit can't be complete with just a jacket, I decided to make some overalls to go with it. and here they are:

I finished the left front of the minimalist cardi and hope to cast on for the sleeves sometime today.Anyway, that's it for now. I'm going to go work on the wedding picture post. Talk to ya later.
